J. DeWitt Knives
I have been making knives on a limited basis since 1980 and a full time maker since 1997. My favorite blade steels are 440-C, D-2, and 440-V. All my blades are individually hardened and given a deep cryogenic freeze. All the procedures used in making a handmade knife are done by me alone. All the handle materials I use are either pre-stabilized or used for their particular stable features. Each knife comes with a hand stitched and form fitted sheath, which are made by my daughter, Jennifer. These knives are created for function, beauty, and durability. Each knife is one of a kind and the knife that is displayed is the same one that will be sent to you. Custom orders are also available. |
